# Yandex Search

## SmartBox {#search}

Use SmartBox to enter URLs and search for information in Yandex.

1. Enter a query, URL, or site name in the SmartBox.
1. Tap **Search**.

The app determines what you need (a site or a search results page) and shows you the results. They open in a new [tab](https://yandex.kz/support2/yandex-app-android/en/app/tabs.md).

## Useful links {#verticals}

Under the [SmartBox](#search), you'll find sections to help you search, compare, and choose between offers: 

- **Finance**: Learn more about deposits, cards, and mortgage rates.
- **Products**: Explore a selection of products in your personalized feed.
- **Apartments**: Find real estate for sale or rent.
- **Medicare**: Search for doctors and clinics in your area.

Tap one of the buttons to open the relevant search tab.
