Yandex Search

SmartBox

Use SmartBox to enter URLs and search for information in Yandex.

1. Enter a query, URL, or site name in the SmartBox.
2. Tap Search.

The app determines what you need (a site or a search results page) and shows you the results. They open in a new tab.

Useful links

Under the SmartBox, you'll find sections to help you search, compare, and choose between offers:

• Finance: Learn more about deposits, cards, and mortgage rates.
• Products: Explore a selection of products in your personalized feed.
• Apartments: Find real estate for sale or rent.
• Medicare: Search for doctors and clinics in your area.

Tap one of the buttons to open the relevant search tab.

Suggestions

Suggestions appear under the SmartBox. Tap them to speed up the search:

• : Most frequent search queries.
• : Sites that you've already visited.

Smart image search

Yandex Start can search for images using a photo as a reference.

Search page

1. While on the site page, tap to the right of the SmartBox.
2. Tap Search text.
3. Enter a word or phrase to search for.

The browser will highlight these words on the page. To switch between them, use and . To close the search, tap on the left.

Copying a link

1. Tap and hold the link.
2. Choose Copy link in the context menu.
