# Permissions

During installation, «Yandex» app will ask you for some permissions and access rights that are necessary for the app to function properly. You can grant the optional permissions later.

## Which permissions are required? {#permission}

#### Location

Required for search suggestions and [push notifications](https://yandex.kz/support/yandex-app-ios/en/settings/notifications.md) based on user location.

#### Access to microphone

Required for voice search.

#### Access the camera


#### Notifications

Required for getting [information messages and warnings](https://yandex.kz/support/yandex-app-ios/en/app/lenta-notifications.md) from Yandex services.

## How to grant a permission after installation? {#permissions-later}

If you didn't grant access rights and permissions when installing «Yandex» app, you can always do that later:
