# Comparing survey builders

In Yandex Surveys, you can select the type of a survey: simple or advanced. A simple survey is suitable for when you are running it for the first time and have a small budget.

An advanced format is good for large surveys with a complex structure and conditions. Use this type if you also need detailed answers written in a free format.
