Technical requirements

  • Image size: 1280 × 256 pixels.

  • File size: up to 1 MB.

  • Format: PNG.

  • Without small text and details.

  • If the banner background is transparent, the transparent portion should not exceed 50% of the banner area.

  • If you're legally required to add a disclaimer, place it on the banner.

  • For the “Ad” label and service elements, the non-image area on the left and right sides of the image must be at least 60 pixels. The "Ad" label will be added automatically.

Image requirements

Don't use images with small text and details

Write a text that's as simple and clear as possible. Use a title and subtitle if needed. The minimum font size is 48 pixels.

Use fonts that are easy to read

Don't use fonts that are hard to read, such as calligraphic, handwritten, or distorted.

Don't use light background

Note that Yandex Navigator has day and night modes. The banner color doesn't change when they switch. White color in night mode will be too bright and may blind the driver.

Don't use borders

You can't use a border on the banner.

Write a clear text for the banner

Make sure the text on your image is simple and clear so people understand what you're advertising. Add more information to the card.

Requirements for materials on action buttons

Tapping Go to site redirects users to the link specified by the advertiser (in agreement with Yandex). The link can lead to a site, app, messenger, App Store, or Google Play.

  • You can add UTM tags.

  • You can't add a pixel.

  • URL length: 1000 characters max.

  • You can't use a link that redirects to another page (redirect). However, there are some exceptions such as links that redirect to:

    • A page on the same resource, such as from msk.site.ru to spb.site.ru.

    • The main mirror of the site.

    • To the same resource but with a different protocol, such as from http:// to https://.

    In these cases, redirection should happen no more than three times.
