Your ads must meet the legal requirements of the countries where you want to serve them.

Advertisers must have specific documents, as required by the Russian Federal law “On Advertising” and Yandex placement policy.

When to submit documents

You can submit your documents anytime after sending your ads for moderation. If the only reason your ads weren't approved was missing documents, we will review all your ads again after we receive the documents. If your ads pass moderation, they will be approved for display. If any additional information is required, we will contact you.

Required documents

  • A copy of the license for a licensed securities market professional authorized to act as a Forex dealer or broker. The Forex dealer or broker's name and information on the ad's landing page must match the information in the license.

  • A copy of a certificate of membership in a self-regulatory organization of Forex dealers, if you're advertising Forex dealer services.

If you have provided a broker's license, then the ad and landing pages must clearly show that they advertise broker services.

If you advertise services across multiple categories (for example, Forex market services and securities management), you must provide documents for each of them. You don't need to provide more than one copy of a single document.

How do I submit documents?

Please send copies of your prepared documents to the Yandex Geo Advertising support team, including your campaign ID or order ID.

Ads must meet all requirements of the decree “On the implementation of activities in the OTC Forex Market”. For example, your ads must not:

  • Promote the impression that the receipt of income resulting from transactions with non-deliverable OTC financial instruments can be guaranteed.

  • Reference the past profits without mentioning that past results aren't indicative of possible future outcomes.

  • Indicate the expected income amount for operations with non-deliverable OTC financial instruments.

According to the law and Yandex placement policy, the advertiser must have certain documents.

Required documents

To place your ads, we require one of the following documents:

  • A copy of the certificate confirming entry into the Forex company register.

  • A copy of the banking license.

  • A copy of the license for the non-banking credit organization.

  • Confirmation that the advertiser is the national Forex center (open joint-stock company “Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange”).
