# Transfer the app to a memory card

{% note info %}

If this feature isn't available, it means that it isn't supported by your device manufacturer or your Android version.

{% endnote %}

By default, Yandex Browser Lite is installed in your device's internal memory. You can transfer the app to an [SD card](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital) to save space.

## To transfer the app to your card {#transfer}

{% note info %}

Manufacturers can change the Android interface on different devices, so the menu items on your device may have different names. The instructions below use the names for Androids without modifications. If you can't find the settings you need, look for the answer in the documentation for your device.

{% endnote %}

1. Open your device settings.
1. Tap **Applications**.
1. Select the Yandex Browser Lite app.
1. Tap **Storage** → **Change**.
1. Select **SD card**.

After this, the app data will be transferred to your card. To return the app back to the device's memory, tap **Storage** → **Change** and select **Internal storage**.
