# Tabs

## Where are my tabs? {#where}

In the lower-rightlower-left corner, tap the icon with the number of tabs (![](../_image/navigation-icon-lite.png) if three tabs are open).

You'll see a list of all tabs open in Yandex Browser for MobileYandex Browser Lite.


## Open a page in a new tab {#open}

1. Tap and hold the page link.
1. In the context menu, tap:
    - **Open in new tab** to go to the link on a new tab.
    - **Open in background tab** to open the link in a new tab but stay on the current tab.
    

To switch to a tab that's opened in the background, tap the icon with the number of tabs (![](../_image/navigation-icon-lite.png) if three tabs are open) and select a tab.


## New tab {#create}

You can create an unlimited number of tabs.

## Switch between tabs {#goto}

1. Tap the icon showing the number of tabs (for example, ![](../_image/navigation-icon-lite.png) if you have three tabs open).
1. Choose a tab from the list.


## Close tabs {#closed-tab}

2\. Drag the tab to the left or right, or tap ![](../_image/close-tab-icon-lite.png) to the right of the tab name.
