Smart Camera

Smart Camera is a camera in Yandex Browser for Mobile. It recognizes objects, tells you about them, and shows where you can buy them. Smart Camera can also recognize and translate text, scan documents, and compliment your photos.

To turn on Smart Camera, open Yandex Browser and click in the Smartbox.

Smart Camera can operate in several modes:

• Search by photo

• Text translation

• Text

• Document scanner

• QR code scanner

• Barcode scanner

• Solutions

• Products

• Watermelon Picker

By default, the app always opens in Search by photo mode. To change Smart Camera mode, swipe the screen right or left.

Settings

By default, Smart Camera stores your image search history for 30 days from the date of the search.

You can clear the search history and disable its saving:

1. In the upper-right corner, tap → Search history.

2. Tap and select an action you need:

   • Clear entire history: Delete the entire search history.

   • Turn off history: to disable history saving.
