# Comfortable web page reading

To make reading pages on a smartphone easier, use Reader mode, switch between site versions, or change text size.



## Reader mode{#read-mode}

When you view a page in _Reader mode_, you can only see the text and the images (videos) contained in the text. Other page elements (banners, interactive elements, or social media buttons) are hidden.

#### **Switch to Reader mode**
 
:   To the right of the SmartBox, tap ![](../_assets/read-mode-tibar-icon.png) or select ![](../_assets/icon.png) → **Switch to Reader mode**.

    If the **Switch to Reader mode** line in the page menu is gray, and there is no icon to the right of the [SmartBox](../navigation/search.md), then Reader mode cannot be enabled for this page.

#### **Exit Reader mode**
 
:   Click ![](../_assets/stop-read-mode-tibar-icon.png) to the right of the SmartBox.







## Text zoom{#scale}

You can make the page font larger or smaller:

- For all sites
  
  1. Tap ![](../_assets/settings-iphone-icon.png) → ![](../_assets/chat-global-settings-icon.png).

  1. In the **Appearance** section, tap **Font size**.

  1. Choose a size you are comfortable with.
  
- For one site
  
  1. Open the site where you want to change the font size.
  
  1. Tap ![](../_assets/icon.png) → **Change text size**.
  
  1. In the pop-up window, adjust the size. Tap the small **A** on the left to decrease the font size, or the large **A** on the right to increase it. After this, the site will be placed in the **Sites where you changed the font size** group in the **Font size** settings section.

## Full website version{#full-version}

Mobile site versions are displayed in the browser by default. To open the full version, tap ![](../_assets/settings-iphone-icon.png) → **Go to the desktop version**.


To return to the mobile version of the site, tap ![](../_assets/stop-desktop-tibar.png) to the right of the SmartBox.
