# Tab groups

## What are tab groups for?{#whatisit}

With tab groups, you can easily organize your browser. You can create new groups, organize tabs into them, open cloud tab groups on different devices (if syncing is enabled), and move tabs between groups to make working with open tabs as convenient as possible.

When you open the [new tab](https://yandex.kz/support/browser-mobile-iphone/en/navigation/tabs.md#create) screen, a switch between groups is displayed at the top center. The switch shows the name of the group you are currently in:

- **iPhone 11** (if you have an iPhone 11) — when no tab groups have been created on the smartphone yet. Here you can see the tabs that are not placed in any group.

  {% note info %}

  **iPhone 11** (if you have an iPhone 11) — default tab names. If you want to change it, tap and hold the group until the context menu appears, then select **Edit**.

  {% endnote %}

- **Group name** — when other tab groups [have been created](#create) on the smartphone.

## Create tab group{#create}

1. On the bottom panel, tap ![](../_assets/new-tab-icon.png =22x).
1. At the top center of the screen, tap **iPhone 11** (if you have an iPhone 11) or the name of the tab group.
1. In the bottom panel, select **Create tab group**.
1. Enter the name of the new tab group.
1. To make the group available on all your devices where syncing is enabled and Yandex Browser is installed, enable the **Cloud group** option.

    {% note info %}

    If you want all your new groups to be stored in the cloud: ![](../_assets/settings-menu-icon.png =22x) → ![](../_assets/chat-global-settings-icon.png =22x) → **Tab group** → **Create new groups in the cloud**. When creating a separate group, you can always disable its syncing.

    {% endnote %}

1. Tap **Create**.

The group will open. Its name will be displayed at the top center of the screen. All sites will open in this group until you switch to another one.

1. At the top center of the screen, tap **iPhone 11** (if you have an iPhone 11) or the name of the tab group.

    A list of all available groups and tabs will open:
