# Vibration

This setting is only available for devices that support vibration mode.

Mobile site developers can enable vibration on your tablet using the [Vibration API](https://www.w3.org/TR/vibration/) without needing to request your permission. This interface was developed for cases where tactile feedback is required. It can be used in web games (for shooting or in races) or for duplicating audio signals for users with hearing problems.

Phishing sites have learned to use vibration to capture the user's attention and intimidate them. For this reason, the Vibration API is disabled in Yandex Browser for Mobile by default.

This setting doesn't affect the vibration when receiving [notifications](https://yandex.kz/support/browser-mobile-android-tablet/en/personal-settings/notifications.md) from websites. These notifications are sent using a different interface, the [Web Notifications API](https://www.w3.org/TR/notifications/). By default, vibration for notifications is enabled in Yandex Browser.

#### Allow sites to use vibration

1. Tap ![](../_assets/settings-menu-icon.png =22x) → ![](../_assets/chat-global-settings-icon.png =22x).
    
1. Scroll down to **More settings**. Tap **Site capabilities**.

1. Enable **Allow sites to use vibration**.
