# Search engine

The Yandex search engine is used in Yandex Browser for Mobile by default. This means that search suggestions show answers to common questions about the weather, road traffic, or facts, such as the [height of Mt. Everest], [current time], [the speed of sound], or [2x2].

## Change the search engine{#change}

1. In the **Search** section, tap **Search engine**.
1. Select a search engine.

If you select a search engine other than Yandex, search suggestions will not show answers to common questions.
