# Text

The Smart Camera in Yandex Browser for Mobile can analyze photos to recognize printed text in different languages. Copy text from a slide, share your favorite quote from a book on social media, or use Yandex to find a concert ticket based on the name from a poster. It’s more convenient than typing text manually.

1. Open Yandex Browser.

1. On the home screen, tap ![](../_assets/scan1.png) in the [SmartBox](https://yandex.kz/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/navigation/search.md#smartbox).

1. Switch to the **Text** mode.

1. Point the camera to the text. The camera will recognize the text and highlight it in white.

1. Select the text:

    - To select part of the text, tap the first word and move the slider to the right.

    - To select the entire text, take a photo or pick an image from the photo gallery (in the lower-right corner, tap the round icon with a thumbnail of the latest photo). If you need to shorten the text, use the slider.
    
1. Select an action:
    
    - **Share**: Share the text on social networks.
    
    - **Copy**: Copy the text to the clipboard.
    
    - **Search**: Search for the text in Yandex.
