# Blocking dangerous pages

Yandex Browser for Mobile warns you when you go to a dangerous site. Although it isn't a full-fledged antivirus product, However, Yandex Browser protects your device against threats that antivirus programs don't block. We recommend using both for full protection.

When you open a webpage, Yandex Browser checks it against its database of infected sites. If it finds the page in the database, the page won’t load. A notification will appear on the screen, and the [SmartBox](https://yandex.kz/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/navigation/search.md) will display the ![](../_assets/lightening.png =22x) icon. You can ignore the notification and visit the site, but it is dangerous.
