Suggest passwords in apps

If you store a site password in Yandex Browser, it can be autofilled in the app associated with the site.

Enable password autofill

1. Select → Settings.

2. In My data, tap Personal data manager → Settings.

3. Enable Autofill for logins and passwords in apps.

Autofill a password

1. Open the app and tap the login or password box.

2. Select the login for the app from the list. If the list does not appear, tap Fill in using Yandex and select the login.

3. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.

4. The login and password will be inserted in the boxes. Log in to the app.

Save password for the app

If you first enable the autofill function and then install an app, the password for the app won't be saved to the password vault automatically. To add a new password:

1. Open the app and enter your login and password.
2. Confirm adding the password to the vault.
3. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.

After that, the login and password will be automatically filled in when you log in to the app.

Disable autofill

1. Select → Settings.
2. In My data, tap Personal data manager → Settings.
3. Disable Autofill for logins and passwords in apps.

The browser will no longer autofill passwords into apps when you log in.
