# Track & Trace

Track & Trace helps you track deliveries in real time and inform recipients about the courier's estimated time of arrival.

## Features {#features}

- Notify recipients about deliveries.
- Inform the delivery company or the dispatcher about the courier's performance during the day.
- Send warnings about delivery window violations.

## System requirements {#system-requirements}

* Operating system: Windows.
* Browser: Chromium-based browsers (including Google Chrome and Yandex Browser) and Microsoft Edge.

## Example of working with Track & Trace {#example}

1. The client places an order. Information about the order is saved in the delivery company's database.
1. The delivery company uploads information over the API to the Track & Trace database.
1. Track & Trace:
    - Processes the data and generates a route.
    - Sends route information to the courier's terminal with the [RouteQ](https://yandex.kz/routing/doc/en/rq-app/index.md) app installed.
    - Sends the delivery notification to the client.

2. The courier:
    - Completes the delivery.
    - Marks the delivery as completed in the RouteQ app.

3. The RouteQ app updates the data in the Track & Trace database.
4. The delivery company syncs the changes in the Track & Trace database with their local database.
