Limited Liability Company YANDEX (hereinafter referred to as Yandex) offers an Internet user (hereinafter referred to as the User) to use API Yandex.Translate Service on the terms and conditions set out herein (hereinafter referred to as the Terms).
1. General provisions
1.1. Terms and Definitions
Yandex.Translate is an Internet service providing online software tools for automatic translation of words, phrases and sentences from one language into another.
The Service is API Yandex.Translate, which is a programming interface providing access to Yandex.Translate Service.
1.2. Use by the User of the Service is regulated by these Terms and also by:

1.3. By publishing the Service code on the User’s Web site or by employing any other functional possibility of the Service, the User fully accepts and undertakes to abide by these Terms and also the terms and conditions of all the documents specified in Clause 1.2 of the Terms and Conditions, without reservations or restrictions. Using the Service on terms and conditions other than those provided for in the specified documents is possible only upon prior written consent of Yandex. If the User does not agree with any of the terms and conditions of the specified documents, the User may not use the Service.
1.4. The User bears at his discretion responsibility for complying with the Law when using the Service. Throughout the text of these Terms, unless expressly stipulated to the contrary, the term “Law” will imply any applicable law, including both the law of the Russian Federation and the law of the place of the User’s stay or the place where the User performs legally relevant acts in accordance with these Terms. If, by using any option furnished by the Service, the User breaches the Law, the User undertakes to refrain from using the Service.
1.5. These Terms and Conditions and relations between Yandex and the User arising in connection with the use of the Service are subject to the law of the Russian Federation.
2. Terms of the Use of the Service
2.1. The User may use the data and functions received with the use of the Service exclusively within the functionality furnished by the Service.
2.2. The User may not change, decompile and/or otherwise modify the program code received via the Service.
2.3. Yandex reserves the right to set any limits and restrictions, including but not limited to those stated below:
the number of references to the Service: 10,000 references per day;
the volume of the text translated: 1,000,000 characters per day.
2.4. Yandex may change the limits and restrictions at its discretion with any prior written notice to Users.
2.5. In the event that the limits set by Yandex to the volume of the text checked and/or the number of references to the Service are exceeded, Yandex reserves the right to deny access to the Service.
2.6. The User may not use the Service for creating Internet services, computer programs or otherwise if such use leads to violation of the Law, breach of the documents specified in Clause 1.2 of the Terms and/or third party rights and legitimate interests.
2.7. Yandex reserves the right to change, revise or update the Service at any time, without any prior notice to the User. When releasing the next stable version, Yandex will announce its release on the web pages of the Service. After release of an updated version of the Service Yandex provides no guarantee of stability and operating capacity of the obsolete versions. If the User does not agree to use an updated version of the Service, the User may continue using the obsolete version of the Service at his own risk and peril, or may stop using the Service by deleting a corresponding code from the User’s Web site(s).
2.8. Yandex may at its own discretion terminate or suspend the User’s access to the Service without any notice or statement of reasons, specifically, if the User breaches the requirements of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Intellectual Rights
3.1. The exclusive right to the Service belongs to Yandex.
3.2. When using the Service, the User may not delete, hide or modify any trade marks, logotypes, links and other references to Yandex or other parties, contained in or received via the Service, as well as any other notices and/or information transmitted by the Service.
3.3. By using the Service, the User authorizes Yandex to use the logotype, trade mark and/or brand name of the User and/or the User’s Web site for informational, advertising and marketing purposes, without having to obtain additional consent of the User and without paying the User any fee for such use.
4.1. The Service is provided by Yandex “as is”. Yandex provides no guarantee of the consistency of the Service with the User’s goals and expectations, uninterrupted error-free operation of the Service in its entirety or of its individual components and/or functions.
4.2. Yandex bears no liability and indemnifies for no damage, direct or indirect, suffered by the User of the Service or third parties as a result of the use or inability to use the Service.
4.3. The User bears at his discretion liability to third parties for his actions when using the Service, particularly, for ensuring that his actions comply with the requirements of the Law and do not breach third party rights and legitimate interests. The User undertakes to settle at his discretion and expense any and all claims and/or lawsuits of third parties relating to the User’s actions during the use of the Service.
5. Final Provisions
5.1. All questions and complaints relating to the use of/inability to use the Service must be sent via the feedback form at http://feedback.yandex.ru/?from=translate.
5.2. Yandex may at any time change the text of these Terms without any notice to the User. The effective version of these Terms is published at: https://yandex.ru/legal/translate_api. An updated version of the Terms and Conditions becomes effective from the moment of its publication in the Internet at the address specified in this paragraph. Continuing to use the Service after revision of the Terms is deemed as acceptance of their revised version. The User must stop using the Service if the User does not agree with any revisions made by Yandex in these Terms.
