Terms of Use of the API Search for Online Stores Service

This document is a translation of the Terms of Use of the API Search for Online Stores Service in English / Ukrainian. In the event of a conflict between the Terms of Use of the API Search for Online Stores Service in Russian and this translation, only the Terms of Use of the API Search for Online Stores Service is Russian shall be legally binding. YANDEX Limited Liability Company (hereinafter referred to as Yandex) offers an Internet user (hereinafter referred to as the User) to use the API Search for Online Stores Service under the terms stipulated herein (hereinafter referred to as the Terms).

1. General Provisions

1.1. Terms and Definitions

Service — the API Search for Online Stores Service, i.e. a programming interface providing means to receive search results from a product search catalog and created by the User, in XML format.

API Key — a unique ID assigned to the User and facilitating access to the functions of the Service from its website/-s.

1.2. The User shall employ the Service in compliance with these Terms and the following documents:

When starting using the Service / its certain functions, inter alia, having received an API Key, having posted a service code on its website or having used any other functionality provided by the Service, the User accepts these Terms and provisions of all documents specified in cl. 1.2 hereof, in full, without any qualification or exception, and undertakes to be bound thereby. It is only possible to use the Service under terms other than the terms of the said documents subject to Yandex’s prior written consent. If the User disagrees with any of the provisions of the said documents, the User may not use the Service.

1.4. The User shall be solely liable for compliance with Laws, when using the Service. Throughout the text of these Terms, unless specified otherwise, the term “Laws” shall mean any applicable laws, including both laws of the Russian Federation and laws of the User’s residence or a place, where it commits legally significant acts hereunder. If the use by the User of any option provided by the Service violates Laws, the User undertakes to refrain from using the Service.

1.5. These Terms and any relations between Yandex and the User arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service shall be subject to the law of the Russian Federation.

2. Terms of Use of the Service

2.1. To access the Service, the User shall receive an API Key. Yandex may, at own discretion, deny access to the Service with no reason given. The User may not use any programs, devices or other means enabling it to receive the API Key automatically or otherwise in violation of the procedure established by Yandex.

2.2. The User can only use data and functions received through the Service as part of the functionality provided by the Service. When starting using the Service, the User shall confirm its rights to the websites to be searched through by means of Yandex.Webmaster at: https://webmaster.yandex.ru/site/?wizard=add.site.

2.3. The User may not use the Service to develop online services, computer programs or otherwise, if such use constitutes a breach of Laws, documents specified in cl. 1.2 hereof and/or third-party rights and legitimate interests.

2.4. Yandex reserves the right to modify, correct or update the Service at any time, without prior notice to the User. When releasing another stable version, Yandex shall inform of its release through web pages of the Service. Once a new version of the Service is released, Yandex does not guarantee the stable and continuous operation of its outdated versions. If the User does not agree to use the updated version of the Service, it can either continue to use the outdated version of the Service at its own risk or stop using the Service and delete the relevant code from the User’s website/-s.

2.5. Yandex may, at own discretion, stop or suspend access for the User to the Service without giving any reasons and notice, in particular, if the User failed to meet the requirements hereof.

3. Intellectual Rights

3.1. The exclusive right to the Service is vested in Yandex. These Terms grant no rights to the User to employ the Service other than as directly possible through the Service interface hereunder.

3.2. Using the Service, the User authorizes Yandex to use the User’s logo, trade mark and/or trade name and/or the User's website for informational, advertising and marketing purposes with no need to obtain additional consent from the User and with no remuneration paid to the User for such use.

4. Disclaimer

4.1. The Service is provided by Yandex “as is”. Yandex does not guarantee the fitness of the Service to goals and expectations of the User, the trouble- and error-free operation of the Service in general and its certain components and/or functions, and does not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of Data. Yandex does not guarantee the trouble- and error-free operation of third-party software products and solutions (including libraries) recommended for the Service in specifications and other documents associated with its use.

4.2. The User is solely and fully liable for the use and safety of the API Key. The User may not receive an API Key for third parties, transfer or provide it to third parties. Yandex shall not be held liable for any unauthorized use of the API Key by third parties. All actions performed on the Service using the API Key belonging to the User shall be deemed to be performed by the User.

5. Final Provisions

5.1. Yandex may, without notice and at own discretion, stop or suspend access for the User to the Service or its certain functions using its account and/or API Key, with no reason given, inter alia, if the User failed to meet the requirements hereof.

5.2. All questions and complaints associated with the use of / impossibility to use the Service shall be sent through the feedback form to https://yandex.ru/support/site/troubleshooting/feedback.xml.

5.3. Yandex may, at any time and without notice to the User, change the text of these Terms. The current version of these Terms is posted at: A new version of the Terms shall come into effect from the date of its online posting at the URL specified in this paragraph. Continued use of the Service after the Terms have been changed shall be regarded as consent with their new edition. The User shall stop using the Service, if Yandex has made any changes in these Terms, which the User does not accept.
